My UPVC window/door is smashed or cracked. What should I do?

If you're experiencing a problem with your UPVC windows or doors, please be aware that we do not carry out all types of repairs. You are responsible for:

• blown double glazing units, except where they cannot be seen through
• re-glazing cracked or smashed UPVC windows if you do not have a crime reference number
• repairing UPVC doors or frames following a forced entry if you do not have a crime reference number

We will repair:

• UPVC windows that cannot be closed or secured and are on the ground floor level
• UPVC doors that cannot be locked or secured
• UPVC door faults that do not allow you to leave or enter your property
• blown double glazing units where they cannot be seen through
• blown double glazing units if they're collecting water leading to mould
• cracked or smashed UPVC windows if you have a crime reference number
• damaged UPVC windows and doors following forced entry or a criminal act

If you're experiencing any of these issues, please report it online or by contacting our customer service centre.
