What are minor and major adaptations?

Minor adaptations are small item requests such as:

• grab rails
• kitchen and bathroom lever taps
• flashing doorbells
• window opening equipment

Major adaptations require work of a more complex nature and should be based upon the recommendation of a qualified Occupational Therapist. This includes:

• stair lifts
• through floor lifts
• level access showers and wet rooms
