What happens if an appliance fails the annual gas inspection?

The annual gas inspection records will contain details of any defects and any action taken to remedy them.

We will put right any defects on appliances owned by us, free of charge and as soon as possible.

It's an offence to use, or allow the use of, a gas appliance you know to be unsafe.

You should never reconnect an appliance that you've been told is unsafe, or which has either been isolated or disconnected for safety reasons.
