What happens with the rent account of someone who has passed away?

Rent will still be charged to the account until the confirmation of ending a tenancy form, a death certificate and all known keys are returned to us, but we'll not charge you for the overall outstanding balance.

Any remaining balance after the tenancy has ended will be claimed from the estate and not the next of kin or executor handling the tenancy. please contact our customer service centre if you're waiting for probate or a grant of administration.
