What are service charges?

Service charges cover the cost of any communal services, such as grounds maintenance, a caretaker and cleaning shared areas.

The charges also cover the cost of maintaining and repairing equipment within shared areas, such as lifts, communal TV aerials, CCTV, electronic gates, door entry systems and fire safety equipment.
