I’m experiencing the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. What should I do?

If you’re experiencing any of the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning, please exit your property and contact the National Gas Emergency for free on 0800 111 999. Make sure you keep a record of the reference number that they give you. We'll need this when you call us.

You should also:

• turn off the gas at the meter if you can
• open doors and windows
• see your doctor or go to hospital
• Contact us to arrange for a gas engineer to inspect your property
• stop using any gas-burning appliances until our engineer has inspected your property
