How will I know my home is safe if my building doesn't need an EWS1 form?

Every L&Q building with ‘common parts’ (meaning an area of the building which is used by more than one household) will undergo an inspection to ensure that it meets the latest building safety guidelines. The type of inspection will depend on the size and type of the building.

Small buildings with only a few households can be inspected as part of our regular programme of Fire Risk Assessments.

Larger apartment blocks may require intrusive Building Safety Programme inspections (where the walls of the building are opened up and examined).
