How do I repay my equity loan?

The equity loan will need to be repaid in full in the following circumstances:

• the property is being sold
• it's the equity loan's 25th anniversary (MyChoice HomeBuy only)
• the expiry of a default notice
• the homeowner becomes bankrupt
• the homeowner no longer lives in the property
• if the first charge is redeemed with no replacement senior lender (L&Q can never be the first charge holder and there must be another lender in place)

Please be aware that MyChoice HomeBuy customers are the only equity loan customers that can interim staircase and buy more shares in stages instead of repaying the loan in full.
